Taif Rose Festival kicks off

The Rose Center in Taif city will witness tomorrow, Wednesday, the launch of the activities of the 17th Taif Rose Farmers Festival, under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nahar bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Taif. These events will last for five days.

Rose farms in the Sarawat Mountains in Taif Governorate harvest about (550) million roses annually. The Taif Rose Festival basket entered the Guinness Book of Records as the largest rose basket in the world, containing (84,540,000) roses, including approximately (26) types of the finest types of roses.

It is worth noting that Wardah Al-Tariq Commercial Company organized in February a training initiative within the Khusham Road program in cooperation with the Technical and Vocational Training Management in Najran. The initiative included training and qualifying 100 girls in the field of flower arranging and roses at a rate of 25 hours over 5 days. Wardah Al-Tariq participated with its brand Bloom, which is an application dedicated to delivering flowers, gifts and sweets in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
